Results with Evenity®

Rapidly build new bone and reduce spine fracture risk in 12 months

Fracture risk reduction after 12 months

After 12 months, women on EVENITY® significantly reduced their risk of spine fractures.

Evenity reduced risk of spine fractures by 73%

This study followed 7,180 women with postmenopausal osteoporosis receiving EVENITY® or placebo (a treatment without medicine) for 12 months. Women receiving EVENITY® had fewer new spine fractures (0.5%) than women receiving placebo (1.8%) at 12 months. Reductions in fractures other than the spine were not significant at 12 months.

Increased bone mineral density (BMD) at 12 months

In the same clinical study as above, women on EVENITY® experienced a significant increase in the BMD of their lower spine, hip, and femoral neck (thighbone), compared to women on placebo.

Every treatment has side effects. Ask your doctor to compare the benefits of treating your postmenopausal osteoporosis with EVENITY®, to the risks of side effects with EVENITY®.

Talk to your doctor about scheduling a DXA scan

A DXA (sometimes pronounced dexa) scan is a fast and pain-free test that measures your BMD. It provides a T-score that represents the strength or weakness of your bone.

To see your own results with EVENITY®, ask your doctor if you’re able to get a DXA scan after you've completed your EVENITY® treatment. That way, your doctor can compare your T-score from before and after treatment with EVENITY®.
